Wiktoria Diuwe - The Volunteers
The Volunteers is a design project that reimagines a sub-brand for the Polish charity Nobel Gift, focused on encouraging young people aged 18-25 to engage in volunteering.
The project brings together a clear brand identity, an empathetic print campaign, and a simple digital sign-up system to make volunteering more accessible and approachable. It addresses common barriers such as uncertainty, lack of awareness, and low motivation by presenting volunteering as a positive and achievable experience. The visual identity uses a series of characters representing different levels of volunteering, from beginner to experienced, to create a friendly and inviting tone across the brand. These characters help soften the communication and make the initiative feel more welcoming rather than intimidating. Overall, the project demonstrates how thoughtful design can support charities in connecting with younger audiences and encouraging real-world participation through clear, engaging, and empathetic communication.
