Alexander Partridge - Did Ya Hear?
Did Ya Hear? is a location-based audio walking tour exploring the hidden stories of Cabra West.
Delivered through the Echoes app and supported by printed and digital materials, it reveals local history as listeners move through the area, unlocking stories tied to specific locations. Beginning at John Paul Park (known locally as the Bogies), where a buried river runs beneath the landscape, the tour guides listeners through the area towards Broombridge on the Royal Canal, site of a landmark mathematical discovery. Along the way, it connects people, places, and events across generations. Designed for both locals and visitors, Did Ya Hear? offers a new way to engage with local history through immersive, place-based storytelling.

Alexander Partridge is a Creative Digital Media student at TU Dublin with a strong interest in UX design and digital storytelling. He previously worked at the stationery design company Paperblanks, where he contributed to website maintenance and user experience design. His work explores how technology can be used to create engaging, narrative-driven experiences. With a background in performance and a strong interest in storytelling, Alexander aims to bring together digital design and entertainment in his future career.
