The Creative Digital Media program is designed to cultivate industry-ready talent in various digital media disciplines. Our academic team offers an opportunity for small companies, organisations, and internal partners to collaborate on small-scale real-world projects through integrated assessments. By partnering with us, you can provide students with hands-on experience that address your project needs.
We look for projects like as logo and brand design, video content generation, podcast development, app and website design and development, UX and UI design, usability evaluations, digital marketing content generation, accessibility and universal design audits, as well as emerging tech development.
When?
Our academic year is divided into two semesters: September to January and February to June. During these periods, we offer a variety of modules that can incorporate projects into course design and assessments.
Projects are ideally planned with academics in August/September and December/January each academic year.
What Types of Projects?
Project’s don’t need to be extremely detailed and can be vague in part. We encourage our students to work with clients in defining project briefs and scope by asking the right questions. We look for projects like:
- Logo and brand design
- Graphic design
- Video content
- Podcast development
- App and website design
- UX and UI design
- Usability evaluations
- Creative & digital marketing content generation
- Accessibility and universal design audits
- Emerging tech development
What Is a Project Sponsor’s Involvement?
Depending on the module and context, we’ll ask you to make yourself available during the course duration. For many modules, this typically entails an introductory workshop, mid-semester feedback, and a final presentation for most modules.
