Heather Connolly - PERIOD.
"Period." is a project that highlights women's health experiences in Ireland through personal stories and open conversation.
The book explores the impact of conditions such as Endometriosis, Polycystic Ovary Syndrome, fibroids, and menstrual health, highlighting how often these experiences are dismissed, misunderstood, or normalised. Through a combination of interviews and visual storytelling, the project brings attention to the emotional and physical realities behind these conditions. It challenges stigma and encourages more open, informed conversations around women's health, while emphasising the need for greater awareness, support, and understanding in Ireland.
