Second Harvest is a mobile app designed to combat food waste on a farm level by connecting consumers with surplus farm produce directly from Irish farms.

The platform empowers local farmers to sell excess or imperfect produce that would otherwise go to waste, offering consumers access to fresh, seasonal food at affordable prices. Through an intuitive interface, users can browse available produce, learn about its source, and make eco-conscious purchases that support local agriculture. Second Harvest not only reimagines how we value food but also challenges the perception of beauty and waste in produce, showing that even if produce is quirky, it still has value
