Barry Flynn - Women In Politics: Work In Progress
As of 2025, Ireland ranks 99th in the world for the number of women in national parliament (Dáil Éireann), with similarly low representation at the local level. Women in Politics is an educational and awareness campaign dedicated to increasing the participation of women in local politics.
Aimed at young women (24-30 year olds), the project is backed by rigorous research and informative messaging. It's striking designs are a blend calling on the women's rights movement and contemporary trends, chosen to create a familiar yet energetic style. The campaign seeks to raise awareness, inspire action, and provide educational resources to support greater female representation in political life in Ireland.
