Why Im buying an iPhone

The new iPhone 4 is an impressive piece of hardware.  First I was going to buy one. Then I decided not to. Then I was, then I heard about reception problems and fragility issues. And finally I saw this video and decided that not only do I want one but I now need one!

The following video was shot and edited entirely on an iPhone. It shows just how good the 720p video is. It really is an excellent example of how fast consumer technology is moving. A few years ago a HD capable camcorder would cost well over 1000 euro for a base model. Now we have HD shooting capabilities and editing software on mobile phones. The quality is superb but the fact that you can do simple edits on a phone is also impressive, even if it is somewhat of a novelty. AT the moment it is very much behind a HD camcorder but very similar in quality to devices such as Flip cameras and maybe worth an upgrade for some of you!
