A point and click interactive animation that follows a young girls subconscious journey as she tries to escape the troubles of anxiety and depression.

Overwhelmed intends to educate users about the problems of anxiety and depression, whilst encouraging those who may be struggling to reach out and get help. The story follows a young girls subconscious journey as she tries to escape the struggles of anxiety and depression, which are represented as visual metaphors. The Metaphors are there to visually express to the user, the feelings and emotions of anxiety and depression in order to give people a better understanding of such problems. This project is designed to help people empathise with those who may be suffering with mental health issues as well as showing them that even the smallest of gestures could really help someone that is in a bad situation.
