New Frontiers Brand Identity Design

New Frontiers is Enterprise Ireland’s national entrepreneur development programme for innovative, early-stage start-ups. It takes place in 14 incubation centres across the country, one of which being the Linc at ITB.

New Frontiers funds 150 companies each year, and over the course of the semester, CDM Year 3 Brand Identity Design students worked with 7 of the start-ups assisting each company with the definition, research, design and implementation of a bespoke Logo and Visual Brand for each company through an iterative client-facing design process. Well done to all the students who completed the project – producing some very impressive brand designs, and many thanks to the New Frontiers companies who participated.

Design Process Posters

CDM first year Design Process and Practice students were invited to design posters which representing various academic activities in the ITB D Block building. Following an introduction to a formalised design process and only few short weeks of Adobe Illustrator training, students came up with some impressive design solutions. Well done to all the first years who successfully completed the assignment.

  One4All Gift Card Competition

The One4All Design a Gift Card competition is open to design students or anyone with an interest on design. This year the competition theme is “Happy Gifting“ and CDM first year students responded to the design brief in the Design Process and Practice module. Following a structured design process, students arrived at unique and original designs for the competition. Best of luck to all who entered!
