ITB Promo Videos
This first year Introduction to Digital Media students were tasked with producing an ITB promotional video to be used as part of the Institutes web based marketing campaign. Students were given about 30 minutes training with cameras prior to this assignment, and had less that one day to capture all of their footage.
Following a meeting with the Institutes marketing team, the following facts and requirements were determined:
- The video should be roughly 2-3 minutes in duration
- The video should be colour (no black and white)
- The video should contain a music backing track
- The video is aimed at potential students, 17 – 30 years in age. As such it should be ‘exciting’, ‘vibrant’ and ‘engaging’.
- The video needs to show the Institutes key facilities
- The video should show student life on campus
- The video should contain the college logo at some point
