A melodramatic short film

Dyadic is a fictional, melodramatic short film, which tells the story of a young woman, Naomi Allen. After receiving some devastating news, Naomi attempts to ignite a romantic relationship with one of her closest friends, Cameron Michaels.

As she struggles with the changes occurring in her life, she strives towards accomplishing her goals, including her goal of pursuing a romantic relationship.

Oblivious of her affection towards him, Cameron agrees to help her finish her bucket list before she leaves Ireland.

In this short film, we take an insight into both Naomi’s external reality, and her internal fantasy, as she privately expresses her thoughts and emotions to the audience. This short film project addresses themes of romance, the gulf between the internal and the external, and reality vs fantasy.
