Digital Imaging: Semester II

Well folks, semester 1 is nearly over. Time flies when your making photographs….

Next semester we will be diving into Photoshop in a big way. We will be re-touching (Ok magazine style), making panoramas, making HDR photos, enhancing photos, and compositing bits and pieces of photos together to create advert style graphics.

Last year I got the students to restore some old photographs that ITB staff were kind enough to donate. Photoshop is choc full of tools that can be used to restore old photos but it takes time and lots of practice to get it right. Here’s an example before and after shot of one students work…nice job for a first attempt at photo restoration.
