Universal Design

Technological advances in product and digital design have made the most complex of tasks as easy as the push of a button, yet some users remain marginalised by un-freindly design approaches. Creative Digital Media Year 2 students were tasked with representing the 7 Principles of Universal Design in a creative way, using their own chosen media. They shared examples of their projects with President Mary McAleese at her recent visit to ITB. (more…)

Visual Language Narrative Assignments

First year Visual Lnaguge students were asked to share their unique point of view, and showcase their creativity through storytelling. Through the effective application of visual language theory, visual narratives in book, comic, animation or video format were developed in teams of two without the use of audio. (more…)
