CDM Year 3 Students success in Blue Blindfold’s Video Competition
A huge congratulations to CDM third year students; Sandra Lorres Torres, Fergal Murphy, Tony Farrelly and John Hyland, who were recently shortlisted for the Blue Blindfold’s Don’t Close Your Eyes’ to Human Trafficking video competition for third level students. The competition aims to raise awareness of human trafficking, and coincided with EU Anti-Trafficking Day on 18 October 2012.
From a total of six finalists in the video category, four hail from the CDM course at Institute of Technology Blanchardstown. Have a look at the entries below, and lend your support on the Blue Blindfold Facebook page
Update 30/11/12 – Congratulations to Tony Farrelly, Fergal Murphy and John Hyland who won the first, second & third prize along with Sandra Lorres Torres, who was the fourth finalist in the video category.

Another Winning Design
Once again, well done to ITB Creative Digital Media year 2 student Svajune, who has won yet another design competition at the college. Her poster will be used to represent the ITB Department of Engineering at promotional events. She was rewarded a €100 voucher for the Blanchardstown Shopping Centre for her prize-winning talents! ITB Sports Center Logo Compeition Winner
The ITB Sports Center are delighted to announce the successful logo design for their new identity. Congratulations to CDM year 3 student Aaron McGrath for his winning design, and picking up a prize of a €100 gift voucher for the Blanchardstown Shopping Centre. Aaron’s entry was followed closely in second place by fellow third year student Kevin McGuiness, and in third place by CDM year 2 student Svajune Garnyte, whom both have won ITB sportswear hoodies.
