In your face street photography

Have you ever tried street photography? Do you find it difficult to photograph people in public places? Street photography is something that I’m really interested in and I have tried my best to improve my street photography skills. However, I still feel a little uneasy about snapping complete strangers and I’m probably still a little over cautious when taking street photographs. I guess you have to have a lot of street photos under your belt before you get desensitized to the fear of someone clobbering you over the head with their Christmas shopping for taking their photo. Nikon release the stunning new D3S (with video)

Nikon’s top of the range pro D3 camera body has just had an upgrade. The D3S has a number of new features such as a new sensor with even more high quality low light capabilities. Probably the most interesting thing about Nikon’s newest pro body is the fact that it now supports 720p video. Bit disappointing that they didn’t go all the way to 1080p. Although using a DSLR as a video camera is not as simple and as using a camcorder, if you can get it right, the results are amazing. As I have written before, we are fast approaching a time when all DSLR’s will support video. This will be a challenging time for videographers and photographers alike as each skill set blends into one.

Some of Nikon’s promo sample videos taken with the D3S have already hit the web, take a look:
