Kinetic Typograpahy from CDM Year 1

Well done to the CDM first year students for sumitting their last Multimedia Authoring assignment. They chose a piece of audio, dialog, poetry or prose, and brought it to life by animating typographic elements in Flash. (more…)

Creative Digital Media Year 3 Work Placements

Congratulations to our third year Creative Digital Media students who have all recently completed their work placements. The students spent 12 weeks working in the digital media industry and found themselves engaged in such diverse activities as website design, photography, video production, social media marketing, animation, graphic design, magazine layout and radio production. Universal Design

Technological advances in product and digital design have made the most complex of tasks as easy as the push of a button, yet some users remain marginalised by un-freindly design approaches. Creative Digital Media Year 2 students were tasked with representing the 7 Principles of Universal Design in a creative way, using their own chosen media. They shared examples of their projects with President Mary McAleese at her recent visit to ITB. (more…)
